Knitting Sampler

I have an (insane) idea to create a sample of knitting stitches...

(I'm ever optimistic...  I also had a fleeting idea to knit a doughnut a week until the Sea Queen 2010 day to sell on our stitching group stall...)

I'm thinking a long long long scarf type sampler. 

I think this would be good challenge... especially as I'm unlikely to use anything other than garter, stockinette, moss and rib stitch in a garment or accessory so this may be my only chance to try out curving lattice lace or gull cable...
